messy magazine started with a purpose, not a name. It was plotted and discussed over beers, cigarettes, in daydreams and countless text messages and gchats. The goal was to find a way to make fragile hopes and strong aspirations for individuals and the underground explode. And how to do it with style and class. So messy magazine was formed. Step by step.

We are not politicians. We can enforce no laws. However, we are a group of vigilantes, with artistic, fascinating comrades aplenty, and we vow to try our hardest to ensure that you are heard and entertained. We, the underpaid, inspired, overworked, creative, and intense can work together. We love this city and we know you secretly do too.  So we offer a soapbox, a plateform, an outlet, a spotlight for you and yours. All we have to offer are these pages. These words, drawings, paintings, photos, and thoughts. This freedom. Hold on to it.
